Jaguar 1967 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Liter Roadster

1967 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Liter Roadster

Aston Martin of New England/Lotus Motorsports, Inc., is proud to offer one of the most iconic sports cars of all time, a 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1, 4.2 Liter Roadster. We aren’t the only car nuts to lust over this piece of automotive history: Enzo Ferrari was quoted saying he thought the Jaguar XKE was “the most beautiful car ever made”.

This Series 1 Roadster is finished in Red over a Black leather interior, a Black convertible top, and chrome wire wheels.  This 1967 Jaguar is a very desirable, late Series 1, covered-headlight car with the desirable 4.2 liter engine, improved brakes, better electrical components, and an all-synchromesh four-speed gearbox.

British Sports Cars specialist Fourintune, of Cedarburg, WI, completed an extremely comprehensive nut and bolt restoration of this car back in the mid-nineties. The documentation, and photos supplied by Fourintune, show that the body was completely stripped down to bare metal, before the painting. The engine, transmission, electrical system, interior trim, and all of the major components were completely gone through during the restoration process.

Only because of the level of restoration and attention to detail brought to this E-Type does it still show superbly, and would make a great candidate for participation in rallies, car shows, or long drives.

This Jaguar XKE comes with its original owner’s manual, Jack, knock off hammer, Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, ownership history, and restoration documents.
